WEEKDAY MORNING OATMEAL

INGREDIENTS

  • 3/4 cup Organic Valley organic nonfat milk divided
  • 1 packet Quaker organic regular instant oatmeal
  • 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon Bobs Red Mill chia seeds
  • 1 tablespoon Flanigan Farms slivered almonds
  • 2 organic strawberries diced

DIRECTIONS

Heat 1/4 cup milk in a glass or ceramic cereal bowl in the microwave for 30 seconds. Stir in oatmeal packet and another 1/4 cup of milk. Heat for 30 to 60 more seconds, until milk is mostly absorbed by oatmeal. Remove from microwave and stir in cinnamon, chia seeds and remaining 1/4 cup of milk. Top with almonds and strawberries.
