CARAMEL SNACK MIX
- 4 cups cheese puffs
- 4 cups crispy corn funnel snacks
- 2 cups pretzel sticks
- 1 10 ounce can roasted almonds (10 ounce)
- 1 1/2 cups firmly packed light brown sugar
- 1 cup butter
- 2 tablespoons water
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
In large roasting pan, combine cheese puffs, funnel snacks, pretzels and almonds; set aside.
In large saucepan over medium heat, combine sugar, butter, water and salt. Stir occasionally until bubbly around edges. Cook 2 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Remove from heat; stir in baking soda and vanilla. Pour over snack mix; stir until well coated.
Bake in a preheated 300°F oven 15 minutes, stirring half way through. Remove from oven and spread on greased wax paper. Quickly separate; let cool. Store in an airtight container.
