Chocolate Pecan Pie

Ingredients
1 refrigerated pie crust
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup light corn syrup
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
4 large eggs beaten
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp salt
1 cup pecans
Directions
- Preheat oven to 325°F. Prepare pie crust according to one-crust package directions; do not bake. Fill with chocolate chips. Place on baking sheet; set aside.
- In small saucepan over medium heat, combine corn syrup, butter, sugar, and cinnamon. Bring to a boil, stirring frequently; boil 1 minute or until all sugar is dissolved. Let cool slightly.
- In large bowl, combine eggs, vanilla, and salt. Slowly pour sugar mixture into eggs, whisking constantly, until well combined. Stir in pecans; pour into pie crust.
- Bake 45-55 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Cool. Store in refrigerator.
