What is Kombucha?
Kombucha is a fermented tea made by combining sweet tea with something called a SCOBY (symbiotic colony of bacteria and yeast).
How is kombucha made?
Kombucha is made by brewing tea with sugar, and then letting the SCOBY (symbiotic colony of bacteria and yeast) perform the magic of turning the sweet liquid into a healthy, fizzy, carbonated drink. It usually takes two to three weeks for the probiotics to eat most of the sugar, and then convert the sweet tea into a delicious and slightly effervescent kombucha.

Kombucha is known for its health benefits, including improved digestion and immune function. It’s also a natural source of energy and is full of probiotics, B vitamins, vitamin C, antioxidants and helpful enzymes and organic acids.
