Community Key to Cub Northside Re-Opening
Cub Northside has re-opened to praise from neighborhood leaders, yet Cub's approach to creating a new model for an urban grocer could not have happened without community input. KARE11's Boyd Huppert tells the story of how the friendship and partnership between Cub's CEO Mike Stigers and Trahern Pollard, the founder and CEO of the community group We Push for Peace, helped make it happen.

One Million Meals
Cub is proud to partner with The All Hands MN team to donate 1,000,000 meals. You can help by purchasing All Hands MN sanitizer at your local Cub store while supplies last. All proceeds will be donated to Second Harvest Heartland to help provide meals for people who need it most. Thank you to Johnson Brothers for their support and generosity and to Tattersall Distilling, Du Nord Craft Spirits, and Brother Justus Whiskey Company for working around the clock to produce sanitizer for essential businesses, organizations, and individuals.
Eat Well. Give Back.
Cub and Mighty Spark are teaming up to provide thousands of meals to those in need. Now through September 12, for every purchase of Mighty Spark’s all-natural poultry, a meal will be donated to a local food bank to support those in our community who are food insecure.
One Gives One
Together, SIMEK’S and Cub are empowering shoppers to help fight hunger locally. Through SIMEK'S One Gives One mission, for every SIMEK’S product you purchase, one meal is donated to the local Feeding America® food bank to help feed those in need right in your community. To date, over 1.3 million meals have already been donated from your SIMEK’S purchases at Cub! For more information on One Gives One, please visit www.simeks.com/onegivesone
Stamp Out Hunger
Fill a bag. Feed a family! Every year Cub supports the Annual Letter Carrier’s Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive – the largest single-day food drive in the country. America’s letter carriers and thousands of volunteers come together to donate and collect food for millions of struggling families throughout the country.
Share a Smile
With the help of the University of Minnesota athletes, Cub supports the Share a Smile Program, by collecting donations at checkout. With the money raised, the athletes and Cub deliver balloons to the children at the University of Minnesota Masonic Children's Hospital along with making a donation to the hospital.
