Simple Grilled Flank Steak with Garlic Herb Butter

Ingredients
1 lb. Wild Harvest Grass Fed, Grass Finished Flank Steak
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon cumin
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
GARLIC HERB BUTTER:
1 stick unsalted butter, softened to room temperature
2 minced garlic cloves
2 tbsp finely chopped parsley
1 tbsp finely chopped chives
Salt, to taste
Pepper, to taste
Directions
- Preheat grill to medium high heat (400-450ĖF).
- In a small bowl, mash the butter with a fork. Stir in the garlic, herbs and salt and pepper.
- Pat flank steak dry with paper towel on both sides.
- In a small bowl, stir together all seasonings.
- Season both sides of the flank steak evenly. Place the steak on the grill directly over the flame and cook for about 3-5 minutes on each side, until the internal temperature reaches 135ĖF in the thickest section for medium rare. Remove from heat and let rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing steak against the grain.
- Serve right away with garlic herb butter.
