Peanut Butter & Bacon Dog Treats

Ingredients
1 1/2 cups old fashioned oats
1 3/4-2 cups brown rice flour
1 cup beef broth
1 cup creamy peanut butter
1 package real bacon bits (3 ounce)
2 large eggs
No-stick cooking spray
Directions
  1. Place 1 cup oats in a food processor or blender; process until finely ground; transfer to a large mixing bowl.
  2. Add 1½ cups rice flour, remaining ½ cup oats and remaining ingredients to bowl; mix until well combined. Transfer to a lightly rice floured surface; knead until smooth adding additional rice flour as needed (about 1-2 minutes). Roll out a quarter of the dough to ¼-inch thick.
  3. Using a 3-inch bone-shaped cookie cutter or any other desired shape, cut out treats. Place on large baking sheets that have been generously sprayed with cooking spray.
  4. Bake in a preheated 350°F oven 30 minutes. Remove from oven; cool on baking sheet 2 minutes. Transfer treats to cooling rack and cool completely.
  5. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week, in the refrigerator up to 3 weeks or freezer for up to 6 months (thaw before serving to dog).
