Ingredients
3 tablespoons Essential Everyday butter
1 small yellow onion, diced
3 cloves minced garlic
2 large carrots, diced
1 red bell pepper, diced
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon oregano
1 teaspoon paprika
1/4-1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
3 tablespoons Essential Everyday tomato paste
1 can Essential Everyday tomato sauce
4 cups Essential Everyday no salt added chicken broth
1 1/2 cups Essential Everyday heavy cream
1-25oz bag Essential Everyday cheese ravioli
1 1/2 cups Essential Everyday frozen kale
Directions
  1. Add butter to a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add onion and garlic and sauté for 3-5 minutes. Add carrot and bell pepper and continue cooking for a few minutes, then stir in the salt, oregano, paprika, red pepper and tomato paste and stir well. Add in tomato sauce and chicken broth, stir and bring to a boil.
  3. Once boiling, add in the heavy cream, ravioli and kale. Simmer for 10 minutes, then serve warm with parmesan and fresh parsley for garnish.
