Hammer & Driver: The Hammer & Driver are used to tighten the hoops onto our casks. The cooper who use them play an essential role in ensuring the quality of all of our casks, including our port pipes. Tasting Notes: A perfume of ripe raisin notes and fruit skins is backed by a dryness with hints of almond and walnut. To taste it is silky with fruit, syrupy honey sweetness, leather oak tannins and notes of ginger and cinnamon. Its finish is long, gentle and nutty. www.thebalvenie/warehouse24. 43% alc./vol. 86
