Pharmacist Prescribed Medications
Birth Control
Pharmacists in the state of MN may prescribe hormonal contraception (birth control) with refills for up to 12 months. Available at select Cub Pharmacy locations, this service has a $40 fee in addition to any applicable copays for prescribed medication. This service fee is HSA/FSA eligible. Nicotine Replacement Consultaion
Ready to quit smoking? Meet with a pharmacist to develop a quit plan that will meet your needs. Our pharmacists offer unique coaching and resources to support you, and they can prescribe nicotine replacement medications (nicotine inhalers, patches, gum, etc) that may be covered by your insurance. This service has an HSA/FSA eligible $40 fee in addition to any applicable copays for medication and is available for those 21 years of age and older.

Patient Exclusions:
- Patients under 21 years of age
- Patients using non-cigarette nicotine products
- Patients that are pregnant, nursing, or planning on getting pregnant or nursing in the next six months
- Patients with a medical history of heart attack, irregular heartbeat, angina/chest pain, or stomach ulcers
