Ingredients
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup chili powder
1 tablespoon sea salt
1 each boneless pork shoulder about 4 pounds
1/2 cup Wild HarvestⓇ Organic Mild BBQ Sauce, plus more for serving
1/3 cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon soy sauce
2 teaspoon toasted sesame oil
1/2 head green cabbage shredded
2 each carrots shredded
1/2 cup fresh cilantro chopped
3 each green onions thinly sliced
1 tablespoon Wild Harvest Organic Sesame Seeds toasted
12 each silver dollar buns lightly toasted
Directions
  1. In a small bowl, whisk together sugar, chili powder, and salt. Rub mixture all over pork.
  2. Place the pork in a slow cooker, cover and cook on low heat until very tender, 6-8 hours (time will vary depending on the slow cooker). The meat should be fork tender.
  3. Shred pork, removing and discarding excess fat. Pour liquid from slow cooker into a measuring cup and let sit 10 minutes. The fat will rise to the top. Skim off and discard fat.
  4. In a large bowl, whisk together barbecue sauce and 1/2 cup liquid from slow cooker. Add pork and toss to coat.
  5. In another large bowl whisk to combine mayonnaise, soy sauce and sesame oil. Add cabbage, carrots, cilantro, green onion, and sesame seeds and mix well.
  6. To serve, divide pork among slider buns and top with slaw. Serve warm.
