COVID-19 Vaccine & Testing

Starting March 30th, 2021, Cub Pharmacy will be administering vaccinations to Minnesotans 18 years* and older.

*At this time, only patients 18 years and older can schedule an appointment online, as the Pfizer vaccination (available to patients 16-17 years of age) is not yet widely available at our pharmacies. Please check back for further updates as this is temporary.

Schedule an Appointment

To schedule an appointment, please use our online scheduling tool. Please note that if you are receiving a two-dose vaccine, the pharmacy you select for your first dose  will be the same pharmacy where you receive the second dose (your second appointment will be scheduled at the time of your first vaccination). All patients will be required to fill out a COVID-19 vaccination consent form at the start of their appointment.

Cub Pharmacy currently receives weekly allocations of all varieties of the COVID-19 vaccine as they become available. Appointments will become available in waves when allocations are confirmed.  Due to an immense demand on our scheduling tool, you may be put in a virtual waiting line.

Once inside the scheduling tool, you will be able to search for open appointments by zip code; if any appointments are available within a 25-mile radius of the zip code, they will appear. If you're shown no results, this means there are currently no open appointments.

Who Is Eligible for the Vaccine?

Starting March 30th, 2021 all Minnesotans 16 years and older are eligible to get vaccinated. To get the most up-to-date information on the eligibility requirements of the COVID-19 vaccine, please visit the Minnesota COVID-19 Response site

Minnesota has directed providers to prioritize vaccine appointments for people most at risk of getting COVID-19, or those who could develop severe illness if infected. This includes older Minnesotans, those with underlying health conditions, and those in essential jobs. Currently, Cub is giving priority to the following groups:

• Minnesotans aged 65 or older

• Health care workers and people working at health care facilities, first responders who provide direct patient care as part of the EMS system, and primary caregivers for people with complex medical needs or disabilities

• Long-term care residents and staff members at long-term care facilities in Minnesota

• Pre-kindergarten through Adult Basic and Community Education school staff members, or contracted school staff members, at schools in Minnesota

• Child care staff members at licensed and certified child care centers or programs in Minnesota

• People with specific underlying health conditions*

• Targeted essential workers (currently, food processing plant employees)

• People with rare conditions or disabilities that put them at higher risk

• People age 45 and older with ONE or more underlying medical conditions; or, age 16 and over with TWO or more underlying medical conditions*

• People 50+ in multi-generational housing

• Essential frontline workers (Agricultural, airport staff, additional child care workers not previously eligible, correctional settings, first responders, food production, food retail, food service, judicial system workers, manufacturing, public health workers, public transit, Postal Service workers)
