Everyone know that Wild Crab is rich in flavor, but the succulent shellfish is also rich in Omega-3 oils - believed to help reduce cholesterol - protein, vitamin B6 and trace mineral selenium, which evidence suggest can boost the immune system.

Preparing Crab: Easy, Fast and Flavorful

Preparing crab is easier than most people think and can be done in a few simple steps. For large legs, first thaw and break legs at the joints for easier handling and preparation. Next, steam or place in a covered roasting pan with a cup of water and spices. Finally, heat legs at 400 degrees for 20-30 minutes. Crab is best served with drawn butter and fresh lemon.

  • Shells should be brightly colored and moist.
  • For storing, wrap tightly in plastic and place in a freezer for up to 4 months.
