
Try this glaze on a garlic-studded ham. To prepare ham, use a sharp knife to make crosshatches about 1/3-inch deep and spaced an inch or so apart, creating a diamond pattern over the entire surface of the ham. Insert a paring knife about 1/3-inch deep in the center of each diamond. Press a sliver of peeled fresh garlic into each slit.
